NA Mid Year #Connect 2024

Please read through our Travel & Expenses Policy carefully before traveling.

Only receipts eligible for reimbursements can be submitted under your department's cost center in Yokoy, using the category “NA Mid-Year #connect 2024.”

🚨 Attention Managers: You are accountable for ensuring that team expenses are aligned with our company's expense policy before granting approval.

Check your individual arrival and departure date in this sheet before booking your travels.

• Book your flights yourself using TravelPerk. You will find an email from TravelPerk in your inbox to join the Event Group.

• Your flights have to be booked before you register for the event here, as you will be asked to enter your travel details in the registration form.

• Travel costs will fall under your department's cost centers.

• Book Economy Class, hand luggage only.

• We expect you to be cost conscious. If you are unsure that you will be able to attend this event, we recommend you book your flight with flexible cancellation.

• Please note that the maximum allowed amount for flight bookings within the US is $400 USD, long haul is USD 1,500 USD per person, per flight. This should include additional flexibility options purchased.

Use public transportation to get to your local airport and to the hotel in Minneapolis. These expenses can be reimbursed.

• The costs for use of an Uber will be reimbursed only if this use will result in a substantial time saving of at least 30 minutes one-way and/or cost saving, or if use of public transportation is unsuitable. Note: Write a comment justifying the use of an Uber or Taxi when submitting your receipts in Yokoy.

Public Transportation from Minneapolis Saint Paul Int. Airport to the Hotel

• Use public transportation to get to the hotel from Minneapolis Airport.

• Take the Metro Blue Line from Terminal 1 Lindbergh Station and get off at Nicollet Mall Station. You will find the hotel within 1 min walking distance from the metro stop.

Note: Bees extending their stay (early arrival or late departure) for private reasons will not be reimbursed for transportation costs from/to Minneapolis airport.

Your hotel room has been booked by the WOPS Team. We are all staying at the Westin Minneapolis hotel.

• Beekeeper will cover the hotel overnights including breakfast. Any additional hotel incurred expenses such as laundry, minibar and social drinks, etc. will not be reimbursed.

• Extra nights for extended private stays (early arrival or late departure) will not be reimbursed.

Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinners will be provided from Tuesday noon to Thursday noon. Meal expenses will not be eligible for reimbursement during this period.

Outside of this time, the only allowed meals to expense with receipts are the ones incurred during travel times.
